Naked Fish in Billerica

H liked the seared pepper-crusted tuna with some kind of a creamy sauce, on the rare side with garlic mashed potatoes and roasted asparagus.

L thought the crab cake sandwich was a big disappointment, although it was huge for $8.50.

L didn't like the very thick black bean soup, although the waitress was blazingly fast with extra cilantro.

Mojitos for $8.50?!? H's martini was less for some reason.

We went again and I liked it much better. We started with the seafood sampler, which while not cheap at $15.95 was quite big and very tasty. L had the chicken and mushroom risotto, which wasn't bad, and a Cuban Infusion drink which wasn't bad, but I'd try something else. H had the seared pepper-crusted tuna again but liked it less and thinks she should have it medium rare next time instead of 'very rare.' Tuna needs salt, she says. Her Cabernet Sauvignon was perfectly acceptable. We also had some of a friend's sangria, which we enjoyed. 1/2 a pitcher for $14 is a fairly good deal.

Desserts seemed kind of expensive-- most are $8. The $5 sundae was okay but didn't seem worth it to me.
